Choreography
2023 UPDRAFT - an outdoor, site-responsive solo Annie choreographed for herself, with live music by Deborah Lennie. Premiered in Greccio, Italy and in Bolzano Danza, Italy.
2023 Madrigale von Krieg und Liebe - an original evening-length work set to Monteverdi's book 8 of operatic Madrigals, choreography Annie Hanauer, for Theater Münster.
2022 soft shell - a new commission for Candoco Dance Company. Premiere at CODA festival, Oslo Oct 2022 and at Sadler's Wells, London Nov 2022.
2022 A space for all our tomorrows - evening-length work, co-produced by LAC & Teatro Danzabile for Lugano Dance Project. Toured in STEPS festival &Lugano Dance Project (Switzerland), Festival Aperto (Italy), Currently on tour.
2022-2023 Off-Centre - accessible group choreography creation with new company Ramped in Leeds, UK. Created for outdoor & non-theatrical spaces.
2021-2022 DoubleDanse - Migros Cultural Percentage - pairing with a Swiss dance artist to exchange artistic practice over the course of 1 year
2021 Artistic Director / choreographer of ZHdK Stage Lab (Zurich) inclusive performance project 'Unforeseen Abilities' third installation. Created paper landscapes for a cast of BA student dancers & artists with disabilities, toured across Switzerland in the IntegrART network (Zurich, Lugano, Basel, Bern, Geneva)
2021 New creation for Mobius Dance company (Leeds, UK) as part of their touring triple bill, Curious Playground
2020 Cowles Guest Artist in residence at University of Minnesota. Created new work IMPULSE.
2019 Cardiff Dance Festival artist in residence, researching improvisation & creation methods with dance students at University of South Wales, panel member for discussion event Unlimited meets Wales at Millennium Centre, lead morning professional class & discussion with Groundwork Pro
